We strive to make our events and activities accessible to as many people as possible. This involves:
- Using physically accessible venues whenever possible, and including physical access information in our event listings.
- Using LGBTQI+ friendly venues.
- Using facilitators who understand the diverse needs of our community.
- Operating a zero-tolerance policy for bigotry and harmful language and behaviour.
- Providing quiet spaces, fidget toys, and optional participation at our events when possible.
- Providing a travel fund for our members.
If you have access needs which aren’t being met, please get in touch with us to tell us how we can help your participation.
Travel fund
Travel to our events within Fife can be reimbursed for our members by sending receipts by email. Travel outside of Fife may be reimbursed as well, but please check the event listing to find out if this applies.
We also have a credit account with a local taxi company, which our members can use when traveling by public transport doesn’t feel safe or possible for you at any time. We can tell you how to access this by email, or if you ask at any of our events.
